Sarm Software’s Easy Resume Creator Pro creates simple, quality reviews without all the pomp and circumstance that went along with the higher rated programs in this category. If you want a resume program with a lot of features, go with WinWay Resume or Resume Maker Professional, but if you want an easy to use product without all of the fluff, this one would be your best bet.

The lack of features in Easy Resume Creator Pro is really where the program loses out because, although it does everything it’s designed to do with superb results, users are more used to programs with a lot of features. A lot of features means a lot of options. A program with basic features seems like it can only do basic things when really the less features there are, the easier the program is to use.

The fact Easy Resume Creator Pro is easy to use makes up for its lack of features, but it’s almost too perfect in this category, making for a program that seems almost too simple. It seems this is a cornerstone of Sarm Software products and is excellent for the users who aren’t savvy enough on computers to wade through a complex interface to get what they want. For a majority of the population, the fewer steps there is to get to where they want to go, the better.

Installing this program was a flawless, self-explanatory pursuit that completed itself without error. In a manner of minutes, we were able to go from the Installation Wizard into the program. There wasn’t anything we needed to download, or updates in our way to slow down our efforts. We were able to get to work right away, which is a definite advantage compared to other programs.

Editing features in Easy Resume Creator Pro are fairly limited. However, this can be remedied by crosschecking your text in other programs to make sure everything is correct before you input it into the wizard. It would be nice if they had more options in this category though because many users want their program to catch the mistakes they don’t know they have made.

Easy Resume Creator Pro lets the user create basic resumes and cover letters quickly and easily. You don’t have to wade through menus to get your final product. All you have to do is click a few times and you’re where you need to be. Although the finished products aren’t as flashy as other products on our list, they get the job done. Potential employers will be focusing on what you have to offer more than how pretty your resume looks.  As far as resume writing software goes, this program is pretty average.
